"You gotta figure out who you are and what you are, and what you’re here to do. Once you figure that out, all you
can do is do it. To not be true to yourself is the worst of the bad choices.“
— Jon Krakauer

Professionell climber and photographer Jimmy Chin once said, that the most honest photos happen, when both the subject and the photographer are ‚in the moment‘ - and the rest of the world is far away. I am seeking those moments. I want to express the fascinating and the mysterious.

I want to show nature as I see it. An infinite playground full of opportunities. But also rough, wild and untamed. And I want to show people following their passions - no matter if far away or just a few steps outside the door. To tell their stories inspires me a lot.

I am driven by the mystery of what lies around the bend. I want to see the world’s great adventure - all it’s beauty, all it’s connections. Going to the mountains, into nature, to all those places... is going home. It’s a way back in.

"The mountains are calling and I must go."

You don’t get to pick what your passion is. It finds you.
